One of first questions I get asked. Spelt Sara, pronounced Sarah because my mum likes it without the ‘h’.

I’m based in Perth, Western Australia and photograph weddings throughout Perth, Fremantle, the Swan Valley and South West, Western Australia.

I photographed my first wedding back in 2011. I’m so grateful I’ve been photographing Perth weddings for 13 years and get to do something I love everyday.

Yes, all humans and love are celebrated here. I’ve photographed many beautiful queer, lesbian, gay, transgender and non-binary love stories.

I’m always here to help. From creating a wedding day timeline, recommending fantastic vendors for your A team or finding the best wedding photo locations in Perth.

It’s totally up to you, most people love having the whole day captured with 8 hours so nothing is missed. From getting ready through to dance floor. All the formalities and fun!

Absolutely, every wedding is unique. We can create a custom package just for you.

A second photographer isn’t essential for every wedding. I can recommend whether having one would be a valuable addition to your wedding.

A second photographer is great if you and your partner want to get ready at the same time of day or at locations far apart.

They are fantastic for documenting important moments throughout the day from different angles.

If your ceremony and reception will have lots of styling (flowers, signs, decorations, table place settings etc), having a second photographer is helpful for capturing these styling details prior to guests arriving at the ceremony or entering the reception space.

I’ll help you feel at ease to be yourself by shooting with a friendly, calm, fun vibe. We’ll find the perfect spot with amazing light, then I’ll give you subtle direction to create real, emotive moments between you and your partner.

If you’d like romantic, golden sunset light as seen in a lot of my photos the best time for this is 30 minutes before sunset.

The exact time will depend on the time of year. In summer the sun doesn’t set until 7:30pm and in winter it sets as early as 5:30pm.

I can help create a wedding day timeline that allows us to capture your wedding party and couple photos during ‘golden hour’ for that dreamy light.

A few days after your wedding you’ll receive an online sneak peek gallery you can share with family and friends. Then about 10 weeks later you’ll receive a link to your full online gallery and print store.

It’s where you can easily view, share and download your photos plus buy printed products like frames, canvas, thank you cards and calendars personalised with your photos all in the one place.

Yes, weddings take a talented team and from years of experience in the wedding industry I can recommend some fantastic vendors that are amazing at what they do but also lovely people.

Most couples book me 6-18 months in advance. Popular months (March, April, September, October, November) book out quickly so lock me in as early as possible so you don’t miss out.

I’m excited you’d like to share your wedding day with me. Once you’ve enquired, simply lock me in with a booking fee and signed agreement, all easily completed online.

Please note I don’t hold, pencil in or book dates without both of those being received.
